Are you ready for a nature fix and to escape the busy city life for a day? Then our “Feel Straddie” 1 day 4WD Island-Safari is exactly the right choice for you. This one day island adventure 4WD Tour will get you in touch with nature again and make you feel what it’s all about living the Australian dream. We will show you all the secrets that Straddie has to offer. We will begin our tour at the sacret tea tree lakes of the islands interior, then go on an 4WD adventure up the stunning coastline along sand dunes, till we reach the rugged tip of Stradbroke Island: “Point Lookout”. After a little ice cream break with a view, we explore the head land called “Point Lookout”. Here you will be taken on a 1h guided tour of the National Park, where you can expect to be amazed by its stunning coastline and wildlife. On a calm day you can spot dolphins frolic in the the waves and if you are lucky and in season, the majestic humpback whales which migrate up and down the east coast of Australia during winter (May to October). We will then continue to a long awaited, succulent, tropical beach BBQ by the sea followed by a swim in the pacific ocean. The next few hours can be spent just lazing around the beach or can be filled with extra activities like sand dune boarding, snorkelling or surfing… After a heroic lunch and some fun time on the water we continue our 4WD adventure till we reach Amity Point, a sleepy fishing village on the northern tip of Stradbroke Island, where we relax by the pier and try to spot some wild dolphins and resident koalas. A couple of beers to watch the sun set and its already time to say good bye and reluctantly head back to reality.
